Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine white cake mix, vegetable oil, egg whites, and lemon-lime soda. Mix gently until just incorporated.
  3. Fold in the lime gelatin until fully combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until the tops are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let the cupcakes cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
