  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika regular paprika is a substitute
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley can omit or replace with cilantro
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Peach Preserves or apricot/mango preserves
  • 1/4 cup Whiskey or apple juice for non-alcoholic
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup or low-sugar ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar or white vinegar as substitute
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce or soy sauce as alternative
  • 1 tsp Mustard Powder or mustard sauce as alternative

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and fresh parsley.
  3. Form 1-inch meatballs and place them on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, ensuring they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. In a saucepan, combine peach preserves, whiskey, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Toss the cooked meatballs in the prepared sauce and serve warm.
