For the Smoothie
  • 1 cup Frozen Orange Juice Adds sweetness and citrus flavor; use fresh orange juice for a more vibrant taste.
  • 1 cup Frozen Pineapple Juice Contributes a tropical essence; fresh pineapple can be blended if preferred.
  • 1 cup Coconut Water Provides the liquid base and coconut flavor; substitute with plain water if unavailable.
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut Extract Enhances the coconut flavor to replicate the essence of coconut rum in the mocktail; omit for a milder taste.
  • 1 cup Ice Creates the slush texture; use fresh ice or frozen fruit for a thicker blend.

Method

Steps
  1. Start your Bahama Mama smoothie by adding frozen orange juice, frozen pineapple juice, coconut water, and coconut extract into your blender. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth and creamy, resembling a vibrant tropical base.
  2. Next, add a generous amount of ice to the blended juice mixture. Blend again on high for another 15–30 seconds or until the ice is crushed and the mix turns into a slushy consistency.
  3. Pour the slushy smoothie into chilled glasses, leaving a little space at the top. Take your grenadine and gently drizzle it along the inside edge of each glass.
  4. Garnish each glass with a slice of fresh pineapple and a cherry on top.
