  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar Honey or agave can be substitutes
  • 1/2 cup Water
For the Lemonade Base
  • 1 1/2 cups Fresh Lemon Juice Use freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar Adjust with honey or agave for less processed options
  • 4-6 cups Water Can use sparkling water
For Garnish
  • Fresh Peach Slices
  • Lemon Wheels
  • Fresh Mint Sprigs

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash, pit, and dice the peaches. Combine diced peaches with sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat for 10-15 minutes until soft.
  2. Mash the mixture until chunky. Strain through a sieve for a smooth puree. Let it cool.
  3. Create a simple syrup by dissolving sugar in water over medium heat. Cool to room temperature.
  4. Juice lemons to get about 1 1/2 cups of juice. Mix with the cooled simple syrup.
  5. Combine the peach puree with the lemon mixture. Add cold water to achieve desired strength.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and serve over ice, garnished with peach slices, lemon wheels, and mint.
