Step-by-Step Instructions for Springtime Crinkle Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla and optional almond extracts.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until a thick dough forms.
