Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add shell pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Pat steak dry, cut into bite-sized pieces, and season with salt and pepper. Heat skillet with olive oil and sear steak for 2-3 minutes until browned. Tent with foil to keep warm.
  3. Lower heat, add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until it melts smoothly. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add drained shell pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in sauce. If too thick, stir in reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Divide creamy pasta onto plates and top with warm steak bites. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
