Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet, heat 1 cup of cream over medium heat for about 2 minutes, then add 2-4 chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce along with garlic powder and onion powder to taste. Stir them until combined and let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
  2. In a large pan over medium-high heat, brown 1 pound of ground beef for 7-10 minutes, breaking it apart. Cook until all the meat is browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side. Place a generous portion of cooked beef in the center of each tortilla, fold in the sides, and roll it tightly.
  4. Pour the creamy chipotle sauce over the assembled burritos in the baking dish, then sprinkle 1-2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the burritos for about 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
