- In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat and add the lean ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until browned and no longer pink.
 - Add the minced garlic and grated fresh ginger to the skillet, stirring well. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
 - Pour in the soy sauce and sprinkle the brown sugar over the beef mixture. Stir thoroughly and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
 - While the beef mixture cooks, prepare your rice according to package instructions.
 - To serve, scoop a generous portion of warm rice into each bowl and pile on the beef mixture.
 - Top each bowl with sliced cucumbers, shredded carrots, and fresh spinach.
 - Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
