Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In your bread machine pan, add warm water, sugar, and olive oil. Stir to dissolve, activating the yeast.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine bread flour, salt, garlic powder, and active dry yeast. Pour over the liquid in the bread machine.
  3. Set the bread machine to dough setting and start. Allow it to knead for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  4. Once the dough cycle is complete, add shredded cheese to the dough and restart the machine to mix thoroughly.
  5. Remove the dough from the machine onto a floured surface, shape into a loaf, and place in a greased loaf pan. Let it rise for about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Bake the loaf for 30–35 minutes until golden-brown.
  7. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
