  • 8 oz Smoked Cheddar Cheese or regular cheddar

  • 2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Honey optional
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce optional
For the Topping
  • 1 large Egg White or whole egg
  • 2 Tbsp Poppy Seeds optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the mini croissants horizontally, then fill each with layers of smoked cheddar cheese and deli-cut ham.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, mustard, honey, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  4. Spread the butter mixture on the inside of each croissant sandwich and arrange them in the greased baking dish.
  5. Whisk the egg white with a splash of water and brush it on top of each croissant. Sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
