  2. Add vodka and mix until dough comes together; shape it into a disc, wrap, and chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Slice the apples and toss with sugar in a bowl to coat.
  4. Roll the chilled dough into a circle about 12 inches in diameter.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the dough, followed by the sliced apples.
  6. Fold the dough edges over the filling and brush with milk or an egg wash.
  7. Chill for an additional 10-15 minutes before baking at 400°F for 35-40 minutes.
