Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by finely chopping your cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, garlic, ginger, and green onions.
- In a large pan or wok, pour in a couple of tablespoons of sesame oil and heat over medium-high until it shimmers.
- Add the ground beef to the hot oil, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.
- Stir in the minced garlic and ginger. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
- Toss in the chopped shiitake mushrooms and cabbage. Sauté until the cabbage is tender-crisp.
- Drizzle in the soy sauce, stirring thoroughly to coat all the ingredients. Allow to simmer for another minute.
- Remove the pan from heat and transfer your stir fry to serving plates, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes
Chop all your vegetables beforehand to save valuable time. Stir-frying in batches helps maintain the cabbage's crispness.
