  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 loaf crusty bread baguette or rustic sourdough

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Clean the clams under cold running water, discarding any that are open and do not close when tapped. Slice the chorizo into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Once shimmering, add chorizo and sauté for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
  3. Add minced garlic, stirring for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden. Be careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the cleaned clams to the skillet and pour in the dry sherry. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes until clams open.
  5. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with crusty bread.
