  • Water to adjust sauce consistency

  • 1 large bunch Bok Choy or kale/spinach
  • 1 cup Bean Sprouts or shredded cabbage
Finishing Touches
  • ½ tablespoon Sesame Oil or extra vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon White Sesame Seeds optional for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Chop the bok choy, slice the mushrooms, and mince the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat for about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the hot oil. Stir-fry for approximately 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in chow mein noodles, soy sauce, sugar, and white pepper. Toss everything together for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Fold in the chopped bok choy and bean sprouts; continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. If sticking, add a splash of water, and drizzle half a tablespoon of sesame oil over the stir-fry.
  7. Remove from heat, transfer to serving plates, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
