Ingredients
  

For the Stir-Fry
  • 1 lb Ground Beef 80/20 for juiciness
  • 4 cups Green Cabbage pre-shredded
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger grated
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce low-sodium recommended
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce or hoisin sauce as a substitute
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar can swap for apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil drizzle before serving
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil neutral oil for cooking
  • Salt and Pepper adjust to taste
  • 3 tbsp Green Onions or Chives for garnish
  • Sesame Seeds optional garnish

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground beef, breaking apart with a spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add 1 finely chopped onion, 3 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in 4 cups of pre-shredded green cabbage and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  5. Whisk together 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, and 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar. Pour over the stir-fry.
  6. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Serve the stir-fry with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
