  • 1 cup rice white or jasmine

  • 1-2 tablespoons sriracha to taste
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Once shimmering, add garlic and ginger. Sauté for 5 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add rice to the saucepan, stirring continuously for 2 minutes to toast.
  3. Stir in pineapple, sriracha, coconut aminos, sugar, and salt. Sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes, turn off heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove lid and fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
