Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add sliced chicken sausage to the pot and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Mix in 2 cups of broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green.
  5. Pour in 1 cup of orzo pasta, followed by 4 cups of chicken broth, 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper.
  6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let simmer for 10-12 minutes.
