- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
 - Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise, remove seeds and membranes, rinse and dry them.
 - In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and garlic powder until smooth.
 - Fill each jalapeño half generously with the creamy mixture.
 - Wrap strips of crescent dough around each jalapeño to create a mummy effect.
 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
 - Let them cool, then add candy eyes or dots of sour cream/olives before serving.
