Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease mini cake pans or muffin tins.
  2. Cream unsalted butter and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  4. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients alternating with milk.
  5. Divide batter into pans and bake for 15–20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Make the whipped cream by beating heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  7. Heat heavy cream until steaming, pour over chopped chocolate, and whisk until smooth to make ganache.
  8. Assemble the cakes by drizzling ganache over cooled cakes and piping whipped cream on top.
  9. Add festive toppings like sprinkles or candied fruits.
