Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat a splash of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Drain any excess fat. Push meat to one side of the skillet, add diced onion to the other side. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent, then stir into the beef.
  3. Incorporate minced garlic and ground ginger into the skillet. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring continuously.
  4. Add shredded green cabbage to the skillet. Stir well and cook for 4-5 minutes until the cabbage softens but retains some crunch.
  5. Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil and red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Pour over beef and cabbage mixture, stirring to coat evenly.
