  • 8 pieces caramel candies
  • 1 tablespoon butter for the filling
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted, for brushing
  • 2 finely chopped apples preferably sweet and tart varieties
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or white sugar if out of brown
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • a pinch salt to balance sweetness
For the Topping
  • equal parts cinnamon sugar optional

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a medium baking dish by greasing it.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet, then add chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for about 5 minutes until apples are tender.
  3. Open the can of biscuit dough, separate the pieces, and stretch each round. Fill with apple filling and a caramel candy.
  4. Pinch the edges to seal the bombs and shape them into round balls.
  5. Place the bombs in the dish, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
