Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Warm your Nutella in the microwave for about 15 seconds for easier spreading.
  4. Spread the warm Nutella over one half of each puff pastry sheet, leaving a border.
  5. Place the second pastry sheet on top, pressing down to seal, then slice into 1.5-inch wide strips.
  6. Twist each strip a few times and place them on the lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with the whisked egg or melted butter if desired.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
