- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and hot sausage for 6-8 minutes until crumbly. Drain excess fat and transfer to slow cooker.
 - Cut carrots into pumpkin shapes and add with diced potatoes, chopped celery, leeks, and minced garlic to slow cooker. Sprinkle in seasoning, salt, and pepper, and mix gently.
 - Pour in French onion soup, tomato soup, water, and beef broth. Stir until well combined.
 - Cover slow cooker and set to cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
 - About 10 minutes before serving, carve mushrooms into skull shapes and add to stew. Cover and cook for the last 10 minutes.
 - Once thick, stir and ladle into bowls. Serve with crusty bread or a side salad.
