  • 3 pounds Watermelon Use a medium seedless variety.
  • 2 pieces Limes Juice and zest.
For the Glaze
  • 1/4 cup Honey Agave syrup can be used as a vegan alternative.
For the Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Finely chopped; can substitute with parsley.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Whisk together juice and zest of two limes with ¼ cup of honey until fully combined. Set aside to let flavors meld.
  2. Preheat grill to high, about 400°F. Slice watermelon into 1-inch thick triangle pieces, leaving the rind intact.
  3. Brush both sides of each watermelon piece generously with the lime mixture. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until grill marks appear.
  4. Remove grilled watermelon from heat, sprinkle with chopped cilantro and drizzle with lime juice if desired. Serve immediately.
