- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti or linguine and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbling. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add large shrimp, seasoned with salt and red pepper flakes. Sauté until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Toss in drained pasta with a splash of reserved pasta water and mix gently to coat in sauce.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and toss again. Adjust sauce consistency with more butter or pasta water if needed.
- Serve the pasta on plates topped with grated Parmesan and a lemon wedge on the side.
