Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti or linguine and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbling. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add large shrimp, seasoned with salt and red pepper flakes. Sauté until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Toss in drained pasta with a splash of reserved pasta water and mix gently to coat in sauce.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and toss again. Adjust sauce consistency with more butter or pasta water if needed.
  6. Serve the pasta on plates topped with grated Parmesan and a lemon wedge on the side.
