  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce for gluten-free option.
  • 1 tbsp Hoisin Sauce May replace with honey if needed.
  • 1 cup Shredded Carrots Can swap for shredded cucumber.
  • 0.5 cup Chopped Bell Peppers Any color can be used.
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves Cilantro can be used as an alternative.
For the Wrapping
  • 6-8 pieces Rice Paper Wrappers Wet just before use to maintain pliability.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Stir in soy sauce and hoisin sauce.
  2. Once the beef is cooked, add the shredded carrots and chopped bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until vibrant and slightly crisp.
  3. Prepare the rice paper wrappers by dipping them in warm water until pliable, then lay flat on a clean surface.
  4. On the center of the soaked rice paper, place fresh basil leaves and a scoop of the beef and vegetable mixture.
  5. Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to secure.
  6. Arrange the rolls on a platter and serve immediately or with a dipping sauce.
