Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing and drying the tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, and cilantro. Finely dice the tomatoes, chop the onion and jalapeños, and roughly chop the cilantro.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, jalapeños, and cilantro.
  3. Squeeze the juice of fresh limes over the salsa mixture and gently fold the ingredients together.
  4. Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of salt over the salsa and mix gently, tasting and adjusting salt as needed.
  5. Cover the bowl and let the mixture sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  6. After resting, stir the salsa before serving with tortilla chips or as a topping for dishes.
