Preparation
- Chop the cabbage into thin strips, dice the onion, and slice the bell pepper. Prepare all ingredients before cooking to simplify the process.
Cooking
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet, stirring them into the cooked beef. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and taco seasoning, mix well, and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Fold in the chopped cabbage, mixing thoroughly, and cook for another 3-5 minutes until slightly wilted.
- Remove from heat and top with Fritos and shredded cheese. Let sit for a minute to melt the cheese.
