Preparation Steps
- Begin by finely dicing the green and red bell peppers, and the red onion. Halve the cherry tomatoes and cube the salami and mozzarella.
- Set a large pot over medium-high heat and bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add 1 pound of pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- Transfer the warm, drained pasta to a large mixing bowl. Immediately add in the prepared bell peppers, red onion, cherry tomatoes, black olives, cubed salami, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
- Pour 1 cup of Italian dressing over the pasta mixture. Use a pair of tongs or a large spoon to gently toss everything together.
- Take a taste of your Easy Italian Pasta Salad to check the seasoning. Add salt and pepper as needed.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour.
