Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and gherkin juice. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the brandy (if desired), cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and celery salt. Mix thoroughly and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Next, add the finely diced gherkins, celery, and capers into the cocktail sauce. Gently fold in the cleaned and peeled King prawns.
  4. Trim the edges of the hot dog buns and split each bun down the middle, stopping just before cutting all the way through.
  5. Spread softened butter on the flat sides of each bun. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and toast the buns cut-side down for about 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
