Step-by-Step Instructions for Crazy Yummy Saint Patrick’s Day Puppy Chow
  1. Measure 6 cups of Rice Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl. Break up any clusters for an even coating.
  2. In a separate gallon bag, combine 1 cup of powdered sugar and 1 cup of sugar cookie mix. Seal tightly and shake to mix.
  3. Melt 1 cup of Wilton’s green icing in a microwave-safe bowl at 20-second intervals until smooth, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour the melted icing over the Rice Chex and gently fold to coat evenly.
  5. Add ½ cup of gold sprinkles and fold lightly to distribute without undoing the icing coating.
  6. Transfer the coated Rice Chex into the gallon bag with the powdered sugar and cookie mix. Seal and shake to coat.
  7. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to dry for about 15 minutes.
