Preparation Steps

  2. Drain the Pineapple: Open and drain the crushed pineapple, ensuring it's well-drained. This step takes around 3 minutes.
  3. Blend the Gelatin Mixture: In a blender, combine strawberry gelatin powder, cottage cheese, and ⅓ cup reserved pineapple juice. Blend until silky smooth—about 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Whip the Cream: In a chilled bowl, combine whipping cream, vanilla, and sugar. Whip on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the Mixtures: Gently fold whipped cream into the gelatin mixture without deflating it. This takes about 2 minutes.
  6. Add the Fruits: Fold in the drained pineapple and quartered strawberries until evenly mixed.
  7. Chill and Set: Transfer to serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
