Step-by-Step Instructions for Berry Oat Bars
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8 inch baking pan by lightly greasing or lining it.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted coconut oil, all-purpose flour, quick oats, maple syrup, coconut sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Press about two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of your prepared baking pan to create a base layer.
- Spread raspberry preserves over the pressed base, leaving about a ½-inch margin around the edges.
- Crumble the remaining mixture over the raspberry preserves and gently press it down.
- Bake the bars for 25 to 30 minutes or until the top is lightly browned and aromatic.
- Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 15-20 minutes before slicing.
