Cooking Instructions
- Trim any fat from the ribeye or sirloin and slice into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a bowl, mix light soy sauce, ginger garlic paste, and sesame oil. Add beef strips, toss to coat, and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing sweet chili sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and salt.
- Add egg to the marinated beef, mix to ensure even coating.
- Coat beef strips in corn or potato starch until thoroughly coated.
- Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F. Test with a small piece of beef to ensure it's ready.
- Fry beef strips in small batches for 1-2 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Stir-fry sliced sweet onions and bell peppers for 2-3 minutes.
- Add crispy beef, prepared sauce, spring onions, and chilies. Toss for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra spring onions if desired.
