  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Essential for browning
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Optionally adjust based on preference
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika For a smoky flavor
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper To taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and peel the Russet potatoes if desired. Cut them into ¼–⅓ inch matchsticks.
  2. Soak the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water for 25–30 minutes.
  3. Drain and pat the fries dry with kitchen towels.
  4. Drizzle fries with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for about 3–5 minutes.
  6. Add seasoned fries in a single layer to the air fryer and cook for 14–18 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  7. Remove fries when golden brown and toss with an extra pinch of salt before serving.
