Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare seasoning by crushing black peppercorns and seasoning steak with kosher salt. Let rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet, sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Sauté shallots and garlic in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
