For the Pasta
  • 12 oz Pasta short shapes like penne or rigatoni
For the Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Spices salt, smoked paprika, oregano, black pepper, chili flakes, thyme, and sugar to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for sautéing
For the Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Parsley fresh, for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine salt, smoked paprika, oregano, black pepper, chili flakes, thyme, and sugar to create a flavorful seasoning mix.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced white onions and sauté for 4-5 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart and cooking for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in the seasoning mix and tomato puree into the beef mixture, cooking for about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the Worcestershire sauce, beef stock, tomato passata, and cream, stirring until mixed and gently simmering.
  6. Once the sauce is bubbling, add your choice of short pasta, cover the skillet, and simmer for about 10-12 minutes.
  7. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning as necessary. Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving.
