Step-by-Step Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add salmon skin-side down, and sear for 4-6 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes until flaky. Squeeze lemon juice over it.
- Boil salted water in a pot. Add fettuccine and cook according to package directions, about 10-12 minutes, until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Once the sauce is ready, add remaining lemon juice and fold in chopped dill. Adjust seasoning. Toss drained fettuccine in the sauce and add flaked salmon.
- Transfer to serving plates, garnish with extra dill and grated Parmesan, and serve immediately.

Notes
Always use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for best texture. Reserve pasta water for adjusting consistency.
