Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add salmon skin-side down, and sear for 4-6 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes until flaky. Squeeze lemon juice over it.
  2. Boil salted water in a pot. Add fettuccine and cook according to package directions, about 10-12 minutes, until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, drain and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  4. Once the sauce is ready, add remaining lemon juice and fold in chopped dill. Adjust seasoning. Toss drained fettuccine in the sauce and add flaked salmon.
  5. Transfer to serving plates, garnish with extra dill and grated Parmesan, and serve immediately.
