For the Topping
  • 2 cups Strawberries Fresh fruit topping; substitute with other seasonal berries.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a small dish, sprinkle unflavored powdered gelatin over the water and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and honey. Heat over medium, stirring until small bubbles form. Remove from heat.
  3. Whisk the bloomed gelatin into the warm cream mixture until completely dissolved.
  4. Pour the creamy panna cotta mixture into ramekins. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 4 to 6 hours.
  5. Wash and slice strawberries. Mix them with honey or maple syrup and let sit in the fridge for 30-60 minutes.
  6. Run a butter knife around the edge of each ramekin to release the panna cotta. Invert onto plates and top with macerated strawberries.
