  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken shredded tender chicken, can substitute turkey or leftover roast chicken
  • 8 ounces Egg Noodles can swap for penne or rotini
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup can substitute with cream of mushroom
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can be used for a lighter alternative
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese mix with mozzarella or Monterey Jack for variation
  • 1/2 cup Milk whole or 2% milk, non-dairy alternatives may work
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Cooked Bacon optional, omit for lighter version
  • 3 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles for 7-9 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk; whisk in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add cooked egg noodles, shredded chicken, and half of the cheddar cheese into the sauce mixture; stir to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese and bacon.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  7. Let it rest for about 5 minutes, garnish with green onions, and serve.
