  • 1/2 cup cold milk for preparing the biscuit mix
  • 1 tablespoon butter can use margarine

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add ground beef. Cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until onion is translucent.
  4. Pour in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir until combined.
  5. Transfer the beef mixture to the baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions and spoon dollops over the beef and cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until the biscuit topping is golden brown.
  8. Melt butter mixed with garlic powder and brush it over the biscuit topping after baking.
  9. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
