Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by dicing 1 large onion, 1-2 bell peppers, and 2-3 carrots into small, even pieces.
  2. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the prepped onions, bell peppers, and carrots to the pot with the browned beef. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in 2 cloves of minced garlic, 2 teaspoons of paprika, and 1 teaspoon of cumin. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour in 1 can of tomato sauce and 2 cups of beef broth, stirring to combine. Turn up the heat until it simmers.
